Hi dear gamers!

I'm solo indie developer that has a dream of franchise in fantasy / sci-fi univers.

Azrael is my first game in this setting. Actually the fourth... But the first that is close to release! I write script, game design, code (python), draw UI and trying to promote my game to let you know more about the world of ancient gods. I don't have enough money to hire more artists and animators, so content production is a bit slow. But let me tell you about the game!

Azrael is story driven game. It was started as visual novel, but soon I've understood that I have not enough experience to write dramatic script and make incredible scenes directing. That's why the game shifted into rpg with city-builder element.

You play as Azrael the ancient god. It was ancients who created  elves, ors and humans. Their technologies looks like magic for mortals. Their lives are near eternal. But the price is souls. Ancients growth civilizations to sacrifice them and use billions of souls to born a new antient.

But their Empire falls into bureaucracy. Azrael is the dark prothet. The one, who executes the judges decisions. He is a grumpy and taciturn careerist. But players choices can make him empathize humans and become more kind.

That time in secret an old imprisoned goddess speaks with Azrael trying to make him her new servant. SHE is the only powet that can rebuild the Empire of ancients and stop the extermination of mortal races.

The first short demo provides the opportunity to play one of various missions that Azrael can choose serving the Empire.
